The Merton Safeguarding Children Partnership, together with the Merton Safeguarding Adults Board, are delivering a joint conference focusing on working together to safeguard adults and children. This event will be an opportunity for practitioners who work with adults, as well as those who work with children, to come together and explore current issues affecting family safeguarding. Local and national experts will be sharing themes and learning around the ‘Think Family’ model, working together to adopt a whole-family approach to safeguarding children and adults. Transitional safeguarding and understanding the legal frameworks for protecting and promoting the welfare of adolescents and young adults will also be explored.
