Neglect Lunch and Learn

This Lunch and Learn contributes to all levels of training and is suitable for all practitioners / managers working with children and families.

This workshop explores the outcomes of independent scrutiny in relation to child neglect in Merton, commissioned by the Merton Safeguarding Children Partnership. Neglect is an adverse experience that changes childhood. This workshop will give space for practitioner discussion, sharing experiences and good practice. It will focus on:

• Outline of findings from the scrutiny 
• Exploring types of neglect and contributory factors
• Risks and impacts associated with neglect
• Learing from local and national sources
