This course is aimed at new DSLs in schools. This DSL training is specific to Merton and consists of a training package designed to ensure that all DSLs feel confident in current legislation and best practice both within our own borough and nationally. Designated Safeguarding Leads training is specifically tailored to meet school needs and compliance requirements in relation to policy and practice.
This course is tailored to meet the needs of staff that are new to the role of the DSL and is a CPD requirement for named DSL and /or Deputy DSL.
