Working with Neurodivergent Families

This training is designed to help you think about the context of our safeguarding practise when supporting and working with neurodivergent families.

This course will help you to:

• develop your knowledge of different neurodivergent conditions and how they impact adults
• understand how this needs to be taken into consideration when working with parents and carers with neurodivergent conditions
• learn strategies you can use and changes you can make to improve communication with neurodivergent parents and carers, reducing confusion and stress for everyone and therefore getting better outcomes for their children
• increase your confidence in working with parents and carers who are neurodivergent
